Light in Bethlehem

Upon a silent Bethlehem night,
Beneath the stars above,
A virgin held the Holy Child,
God’s everlasting love.
No crown of gold adorned His head,
No palace held His birth,
Yet Heaven’s King came down to save
The lost and fallen earth.

And worshiped where He lay.
For this small Child in manger low
Would one day bear the cross,
To bring redemption through His blood
And save the souls once lost.

Still echoes with that song,
For Christ the Lord still calls the lost
To Him where they belong.

The newborn King, the Prince of Peace,
