From Genesis to Revelation

Verse 1
In the beginning God did speak,
And formed the earth and sky,
He made the stars, the sea, the land,
And set the sun on high.
Then Adam came and Eve beside,
In Eden’s holy light,
But sin did enter through the fall,
And dark became the night.

Chorus
Glory to the Lamb of God,
Jesus Christ the King,
From Genesis to Revelation,
Hear salvation sing.
Mercy written through the ages,
Grace for every soul,
Christ alone redeems and saves,
And makes the broken whole.

Verse 2
The floodwaters rose upon the earth,
Yet Noah found God’s grace,
Abraham received the call,
To walk by faith’s embrace.
Through Isaac, Jacob, Joseph’s dreams,
God kept His promise true,
And Moses led God’s people forth,
As seas divided through.

Verse 3
The Law was given from the mount,
Yet hearts were weak with sin,
The judges came, the prophets spoke,
To call the lost again.
Then David sang and Solomon built,
The temple to God’s name,
But kingdoms fell through unbelief,
And exile brought them shame.

Then in a manger Christ was born,
The Savior promised long,
He healed the sick and raised the dead,
And taught the crowds in love.
Upon the cross He bore our sin,
God’s spotless sacrifice,
Then rose again the third glad day,
Defeating death for life.

Verse 5
The Spirit came with fire and power,
The Church spread far and wide,
Through trials, chains, and martyr’s flames,
The faithful would abide.
One day the trumpet sound shall call,
The dead in Christ shall rise,
A new heaven and earth shall come,
With joy that never dies.

Final Chorus
Glory to the Lamb of God,
Jesus Christ the King,
Alpha and Omega reigning,
Heaven’s hosts now sing.
Every nation, tribe, and people,
Gathered at the throne,
Worthy is the risen Lamb,
Forever Christ alone.
